âThe Love of Jesus Around the Worldâ
God's love transcends every border, language, and cultural boundary. That's why Jesus Companion has created "The Love of Jesus Around the World"âa groundbreaking collection of meticulously crafted Gospel compositions that proclaim Jesus's revolutionary love in the authentic musical and linguistic traditions of cultures worldwide. From the qawwali mysticism of Western Punjabi to the operatic warmth of Italian, from Mandarin's classical instrumentation to Hebrew's ancient spiritual resonance, each song honors the deep cultural identity of its speakers while declaring an unchanging truth: Jesus Christ loves you beyond measure, died for your redemption, and desires intimate relationship with you. These aren't merely translated hymnsâthey are incarnational Gospel expressions that say to every people group: "Your language matters. Your music matters. Your heritage matters. Jesus loves you." "The Love of Jesus Around the World" carries a singular, transformative message: the Gospel belongs to every tongue, and every culture deserves to encounter the Savior in the deepest, most authentic way possible. Join us as we celebrate linguistic diversity, cultural beauty, and the unstoppable Gospelâone carefully crafted composition at a time. đŚâď¸đđ
The consensus among missionary and translation organizations is that presenting the Gospel in a person's "heart language" (their native or most comfortable language) is crucial for effective evangelism because it allows the message to resonate on an emotional and personal level, rather than just an intellectual one. This approach is rooted in the idea of contextualizationâmaking the message culturally relevant and accessible.
There are over 7,150 languages spoken in the world, although this number fluctuates as languages are documented and some become endangered. While a few languages have billions of speakers, the vast majority of languages are spoken by small, local communities.
The 72 languages celebrated on âThe Love of Jesus Around the Worldâ (Vol I, II, III & IV) represents approximately 5.9 billion speakers, or as we like to think of them, souls, worldwide. English is not included in that number.
âGive praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.â -1 Chronicles 16:8
King David is traditionally credited as the author of the majority of the Psalms. In fact, 73 Psalms are superscripted with "A Psalm of David" (or similar language). David was a musician, warrior, shepherd, and kingâand his life experiences of exile, danger, victory, and deep faith are woven throughout the Psalms he wrote.
However, David was not the only author. The Psalms were written by multiple composers over centuries:
Asaph (12 Psalms) â David's chief musician and worship leader
The Sons of Korah (11 Psalms) â Levitical musicians and temple gatekeepers
Solomon (2 Psalms) â David's son and successor
Moses (1 Psalm) â Psalm 90, a prayer reflecting on God's eternity
Ethan the Ezrahite (1 Psalm)
Anonymous authors â Many Psalms have no superscription, written by unknown believers
When Were They Written?
The Psalms span roughly 1,000 years of biblical historyâfrom the time of Moses through the post-exilic period. They were collected and compiled over time into the book we have today.
Why This Matters:
What's beautiful is that whether written by a king, a priest, a musician, or an unknown believer, the Psalms capture the full spectrum of human emotion before God: joy, sorrow, anger, confusion, confidence, fear, doubt, and overwhelming faith.
The Psalms are not just David's prayersâthey are OUR prayers. đŚâď¸đ

"The Psalmsâ : Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Sound
The Psalms have always been the Church's most honest prayer bookâraw, searching, celebratory, and deeply human. Now, "The Psalms (Vol. I - XIV)" brings Psalms 1-140 to life through original Gospel compositions spanning multiple genres: conscious hip-hop grappling with justice and suffering, uplifting anthems celebrating God's protection, soulful gospel orchestrations that move the heart, intimate folk storytelling that whispers truth, and more. Each song honors the biblical text while speaking directly to the modern believer's experienceâwhether you're wrestling with why God seems distant, finding refuge in crisis, celebrating His faithfulness, or standing firm in righteousness. This is not a traditional hymnal. This is the Psalms as they were meant to be experienced: raw, real, diverse in sound, and undeniably transformative. Listen freely, share boldly, and let these ancient prayers become your modern prayer. Because your doubts matter. Your questions matter. Your faith matters. And God hears every word. đŚâď¸đ
